Do I need to pay to get access to this program?
The Home Benefits Program is offered free to register and has no hidden costs.
Do I have to use all three services or can I use only the services I need?
Each part of the program offer is independent and you can select any or all of the available services. For example, if you are only in need of a mortgage, you can obtain a mortgage through the SIRVA program lender and receive the closing cost credit without having to use any other part of the program. The same applies to real estate and moving – you do not have to use the SIRVA program Lender in order to receive the cash back credit from the SIRVA real estate referral program. However, you use two services or more you will become eligible for an additional bonus of a $250 AMEX gift card.‡† Please note as well that because of the common ownership of SIRVA Relocation and SIRVA Mortgage (and other settlement service providers listed in the AFBA) the use or referral by any one of these companies to another may provide that company a financial or other benefit.
Can I use my cash back rewards to pay for closing costs?
If you choose SIRVA Mortgage as your lender, you can receive your earned real estate cash back at closing to be used in addition to the SIRVA Mortgage program lender credit for the payment of closing costs. If you chose another lender, your cash back will be either mailed or directly deposited into your checking account 30-45 days after closing.
How does the real estate process work?
One of SIRVA’s real estate coordinators will contact you to learn about your needs and what you are looking for in an agent. They will connect you with 1-3 of their preferred agents for you to talk to that meet your requirements. SIRVA’s Preferred Broker Network (PBN) is a mix of large, mid, and small brokerage companies that cover over 160 metropolitan areas. All agents in the network must have at least 3 years of experience in selling real estate, closed at least 20 real estate transactions in the past year, and must have specific brokerage-sponsored relocation training. You then work directly with your assigned agent to buy or sell a home. Your cash reward will be in your hands 30-45 days after closing! It’s that easy.
I have never heard of SIRVA. Are they a reputable company?
